Talk about Conspiracies. I had a hell of a time getting the last post to work. It was all messed up so I'm wondering...hum!! Could I read into something that's not? ha ha!!
Wow, it's been a crazy few days. There is something in the air or the weather sinks because my children have been way over the top. Screaming, fighting with each other and being defiant. My head feels like it's going to explode. I need to listen to some music to calm down all this madness.
Lost is over and I'm glad I got to watch this show. It was well written and the talent of Actor's bringing you into their world Lost. I'm amazed and the ending was so beyond beautiful. Of course, I cried like a baby. It had you wondering through out the whole series each week, each season. You don't get a lot of great shows like Lost and they are far in between. Sad to see it go. Wow and I'm still speechless. Thank you Creator's of Lost!!
I'm off to do silly things. Life just seems to be too serious lately. Take care, Peace!!

It's a new thing I'm into!!!!
Last night I was going to be good and go to bed early but then the hubby was fixing his computer so we could watch our You Tube video's up on the TV instead of on our laptops. Then a video came up and we watched it. I laughed my ass off. This guy was so funny. His name is Philip DeFranco and he is the 23 year old host of the Philip DeFranco Show. The show has accrued over, 130 million views, and maintains the best audience EVER! The show is DeFranco’s soapbox to talk about everything and anything that interests Philip DeFranco. His website phillyd.tv has more videos so go check him out.
It's not like I meant to stumble on this guys work. I was going to be responsible and go to bed early but this video was presented to us on our huge TV so I had to watch it. After we watched this video we had to watch more. So going to bed early just went out the door. We were hooked. The dude is funny. It's like he's on speed and I don't think he is but the way he talks so fast and goes from one topic to the next is just too funny.
What is a SAHM supposed to do? I'm taking a break from Jon and Kate plus 8. I enjoy the discussions but I just need something new at the moment. I'm tired of Gosselin's Without Pity AKA GWOP with their harassing Pastor's and bitching about exploitation when in fact they are screwed up people who need to get some therapy. I have no problem with Jon and Kate Gosselin and I like watching their show but I just need a break from all the snarking for awhile. I enjoyed my time writing my opinion on GWOP's counter blog Gosselin's do not need our Pity and the women there were more level headed. Plus if I tried to write an opinion on GWOP it won't go through because they are one sided which if you hate The Gosselin's your comments get through. You got it!!! So it just happens I found this dude and I'll check out his career more often from now on. This guy I think is a genus and the stuff he comes up with making fun of what's happening in the moment is just Brilliant!!!!
Well the last thing I'm getting into is the show called The Doctor's. It's my new Dr. Phil. It's a panel of Doctor's taking about medical stuff. My bff told me about it and how she likes this show so yesterday it happened I put the kids down early and I just happened to check out what was on TV and it was coming on after the Bonnie Hunt show so because I trust my bff in great entertainment I decided to check it out. I think I'm hooked on this new show also. So much change and new interests. I have to spice it up once in awhile so things don't get boring. Jon and Kate plus 8 isn't going anywhere soon so I'll lurk and read but I won't be as involved as I was the last few months. I made my blog with Adult Content protection and I think it's a good idea for I do have adult content on here at times. Take care, Peace!!!!

Go to Gateworld because it has an article of The Best of John Sheppard who is played by Joe Flanigan on Stargate Atlantis. I would have to say my favorite John Sheppard episode is Doppelganger from Season Four, episode 4. I loved this episode because there was the coolest fight scene where Sheppard kicked his own ass as you can tell by the title. It was all around great. I will miss the show and I'm sad to see it go. I can't wait until Friday to see the last episode of the series. I saw a preview and it looks like it will kick some ass. The Team will have to figure out a way to save Earth from the Wraith.
The SGA Marathon has been good memories. I think I'm going to have to pull out the DVD's out again and watch the series over again. I forgot some stuff in the earlier seasons. I can't believe I forgot I also loved the episode this season called The Shrine. The story was about Rodney with him losing his memory and the team trying to find a way to save his life. I liked the scene with McKay and Sheppard on the Pier drinking beer. My favorite line from this episode was "You're a good friend, Arthur" I cracked up in between tears. It was touching. I also thought it was sweet McKay told Keller in a video he loved her before he lost his memory.
Well it's a slow night and my brain is fried. I had a long day because it was bath night for the children and without help I'm drained to bits. I could go on and on about Joe Flanigan and all of Stargate Atlantis but I'll wait until Friday. Take care, Peace!

Imagination Movers!
Anyone with children probably have come across this show on the Disney channel the Imagination Movers. At first I was thinking not another show going to make me lose brain cells but after watching this show with my daughter who loves this show and never misses it at 10:00am every morning and after some crying and tantrums I decided to give my thumbs up and give it a shout out on behalf of my daughter seeing how this show is her favorite of all time.
From there website: http://www.imaginationmovers.com/website/
What would happen if the Beastie Boys collaborated with Mr. Rogers?
The answer is found on the Imagination Movers' critically acclaimed CDs “Calling All Movers,” “Good Ideas” and "Eight Feet" and the DVD “Stir It Up.”The Movers sing about messy rooms, healthy snacks, sibling rivalry and other topics that relate to being a little kid. Their musical style, however, would sound right at home on a weekly MTV countdown. The Movers – Rich, Scott, Dave and Smitty -- began in New Orleans in 2003 and now are fast-rising stars on the national kids music scene thanks to their combination of radio-friendly songs, kid-friendly themes and dynamic live shows. In concert, the Movers teach high-energy dances, play games with the audience and make music on their one-of-a-kind trashcan drumset. Kids and parents help perform new kids classics like “Shakable You,” “The Medicine Song,” “What’s in the Fridge?” and “I Want My Mommy (Time for Bed).”The Movers are a big hit on XM Kids national satellite radio, where they have launched three songs to the top of the charts. They have also won a total of 14 national music awards and were named a “Parenting Pick” by Parenting Magazine in May 2005. An ongoing tour of U.S. cities creates new Movers fans (affectionately known as “Gearheads”) in the wake of every show.In September 2008, Disney Channel debuted a new television series featuring Rich, Scott, Dave and Smitty as blue-collar brainstormers working hard to solve “idea emergencies” in their Idea Warehouse, a clearinghouse of infinite inspirations. Through songs, stories and skits, Imagination Movers moves kids to exercise their bodies and brains.Movers audio and video encourages kids to “reach high, think big, work hard and have fun!” The Movers themselves are leading by example as they captivate new fans daily with their winning sound and style.
Meet the Movers:
Mover Rich is the Movers’ multi-instrumentalist and the man behind the controls in the recording studio. Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, Collins relocated to New Orleans in the early 1990s to form the rock group Dubly. The Movers’ unique “junk” drum set is a hybrid of the setups used by street performers in D.C. and New Orleans. Collins is married with five children. In the Idea Warehouse, Rich’s drum sticks double as "Scribble Sticks," which can be used to draw pictures and words right on the TV screen.
Mover Scott is an award-winning elementary school teacher, Durbin first dreamed up the idea for "Imagination Movers" in 2003. Inspired by Mr. Rogers and Captain Kangaroo, Durbin's goal is to bring strong male role models to children's programming. The son of a military chaplain, Durbin grew up all over the world, including Thailand, Washington, D.C. and San Antonio, before his family settled in New Orleans when he was in second grade. He continued to travel throughout high school and college, studying abroad in both Japan and Denmark. The mandolin playing Durbin credits these adventures with giving him the ability to see things from a variety of perspectives, a trait he brings to the series through his characteristic "Wobble Goggles."Prior to the Movers, Durbin was an award-winning teacher, earning the New Teacher of the Year award from Isidore Newman School and a Teacher of the Year award from the St. Charles Parish public school district. He received an undergraduate degree in religious studies from Centenary College of Louisiana, and a graduate teaching certificate from the University of New Orleans. Durbin's interest in music stems from his childhood and the time he spent as the front man for various alternative bands throughout the 80's and 90's.Mover Scott is married with two wonderful kids.
Mover Dave is an architect by trade, Poche was part of the design team for the New Orleans Saints practice facilities and also designed various New Orleans-based banks, office buildings and hotels. He most recently worked on several designs that are part of the post-Katrina rebuild efforts. As 'Imagination Mover Dave,' Poche is the Movers' "jack-of-all-trades," using his red gadget hat as a storage device for a variety of objects, many of which he uses to make his cool gizmos and contraptions. Poche is also responsible for creating the concept of the Warehouse Mouse puppet, a mainstay in the series. An active father, he has taken time from his busy schedule to serve as a Cub Scout den leader as well a coach for his children’s T-ball, basketball and soccer teams. While he has no formal theatrical or musical training, Poche did fiddle with the bass briefly in college and has a colorful performance background that includes a stint as a stand-up comic. Like his fellow Movers, he is inspired by 1980s and '90s rock, pop and alternative music and by his front-lines experience dealing with his children's sleepless nights, messy playrooms and other growing pains. Originally from Baton Rouge, Poche received his degree from Louisiana State University and moved to his wife's hometown of New Orleans 13 years ago. Despite losing their home to Hurricane Katrina, the couple has returned to the New Orleans area where they currently reside with their two young children.
Mover Smitty, a New Orleans firefighter, has spent the past five years as part of Engine 7 on Basin Street and was a part of the Hurricane Katrina search-and-rescue effort. While he was the only Mover not to lose his home to the storm, his firehouse was destroyed and continues to operate out of a trailer.Guitarist Smith is the adventurous outdoorsman of the group; growing up in Southern Louisiana, he hunted and fished every weekend as a child, and continues to do so in his spare time. He's also an avid hiker and enjoys exploring America's National Parks. Smith brings his outdoor experiences to the group by blowing duck and goose calls on some of the band’s songs, including "I Heard That."An English Literature graduate of the University of New Orleans, Smith's given Mover prop is his trusty journal, which represents his Indiana Jones-like scholarly personality and is used as a resource when the Movers are trying to solve a problem. A New Orleans native, Smith resides in the city with his wife and two dogs.
With a group of guys who sing, dance and who teach my children to learn to solve problems at the same time having a great time is a show I enjoy my children to watch. It amazes me how I enjoy watching this show with them in the morning. I love how my daughter gets up and dances and tries to sing the songs. It's great to know there are still shows out there to teach your children about good behaviour at the same time having a great time. Thanks Imagination Movers!

The wacky shows I like to watch!
At night after the kids go to bed my hubby and I like to curl up and watch some TV together. We have several shows we watch on a regular basis. We also joke who got who watching a show first. Hubby thinks he got me into all Scifi shows and he only watches women drama's because I like them. We have TIVO and I don't know what we would do if we didn't have this service. Here is a break down of some of the major shows we watch together.
Monday Night:
Heroes: They thought they were like everyone else... until they woke with incredible abilities.
We started watching this show from the beginning. We like it and first it's like who's good and who's bad and what is going on with Peter. This season has more questions to figure out and just something cool to watch.
Jon and Kate plus 8: Documentary-style reality show about a Pennsylvania husband, wife and each of their 8 extremely individualistic children. A very controversial show.
Tuesday Night:
House: An antisocial maverick doctor who specializes in diagnostic medicine does whatever it takes to solve puzzling cases that come his way using his crack team of doctors and his wits.
House is a jerk and I like how he screws around with everyone and his sarcastic attitude.
Wednesday Night:
Private Practice: A spin-off of the medical drama "Grey's Anatomy" centering on the life of neonatal surgeon Addison Montgomery
Opposite of House and very dysfunctional Doctor's with more personal drama. Love the drama.
Thursday Night: Good Night!
Smallville: A young Clark Kent struggles to find his place in the world as he learns to harness his alien powers for good and deals with the typical troubles of teenage life in Smallville.
It's Clark Kent who will be Superman! Enough said :)
Grey's Anatomy: A drama centered on the personal and professional lives of five surgical interns and their supervisors.
Another Doctor's show with dysfunction. I love this show.
ER: A drama centered on the personal and professional lives of five surgical interns and their supervisors.
I have watched this show off and on since the beginning.
Friday Night: our scifi night
Stargate Atlantis: The spin off of Stargate SG-1. An international team of scientists and military personnel discover a Stargate network in the Pegasus Galaxy and come face-to-face with a new, powerful enemy, The Wraith.
I love this show and it could be because I like the people behind the making of the show or it could be Joe Flanigan. Joe Flaingan's character is Jon Sheppard and he's just good looking. The guy is hot which is a bonus. I would say this show has great actor's, a good production team and great stories. I am a little bummed Stargate Atlantis is in it's final season but their is always DVD re-runs and a movie on the making. I look forward to Friday nights because of Atlantis and Joe Flanigan :)
Sanctuary: Stem cells, gene therapy, transplants, cloning; The very meaning of the word "humanity" changes daily in the modern world... Amanda Tapping's show. I was first introduced to this Actress in SG-1 as Sam Carter. Great actress and this is her show so I have to support her.
Saturday Night:
Catchup on recorded shows or Movie Night
Sunday Night:
Armywives: The army has its code... the wives have their own. About a woman who marries a soldier and moves her family onto an Army base, where she becomes friends with other women whose husbands are in the military. I watched this show from the beginning and is only in it's second season. I just like this show.
Right now, these are the shows we watch and when Lost comes back on we'll watch it and I haven't heard about Medium but I also like watching this show too. Right now, it looks like we only like Doctor shows but that's what's good on TV right now. I enjoy that my Hubby and I like watching TV together. It keeps us close doing something together even when we're just staring at a Television set. It's peaceful enjoying each others company before we go to bed. We like spending time together if not watching TV but hanging out. We're friends too and I love that about our marriage. September 25, 2008
My children!
I'm having a mommy day being all emotional.. :) My kids are growing up to fast for my liking. They are this small only once and I just want to capture all of it. I'm so proud of my oldest. She's so smart and sometimes I wonder if I have a genus on my hands. She's only 3 1/2 but sometimes I listen to her and can't believe some of the stuff coming out of her mouth like this morning I asked her to get her little brother a diaper for me and then she went into a 10 minutes rant of why it's not good for her because her brother should get his own diaper because he will not learn to do things for himself....I was like okay makes sense but your 3!!! My little boy is 17 months old and as much as I want him to talk he feels the need to take his own pace. Saying Momma, Dadda and Nanna aka..banana is fine with me. He knows what you are saying so I'm not too concerned. My daughter was talking in short sentences when she was his age plus I'm not in a hurry with him talking because of the future arguments between my two and it's bad enough having to get between the fights they have now. I can't imagine them arguing and my head is ringing just thinking about it...oh mine!
I feel lucky I get to watch them grow up at this age to be able to stay home with them. They sure make me see things differently and there is always something going on like screaming, laughing, fighting, time outs and getting under my feet when I'm trying to keep things tidy. I think I gave up on the cleaning until they are going to school. No matter what I do or keep things tidy it's like a tornado goes through the house anyway. I do enjoy the sleeping in. Getting up at 9:30am every morning is nice. Training the kids to get up at that time is great too but at least I have a year to go before A starts pre-school and then I will have to get up early like everyone else. I guess that's what Caffeine is for....
I just realized we as my family has been living out of our laundry room. It seems like none of the clean clothes are getting put away. I hate laundry but love grocery shopping..weird! It's fine with me on my laundry not getting put away. It's not like our kids are allowed up stairs by themselves anyway and every morning they get dressed downstairs so running back up and down the stairs to get clean clothes is a waste of time plus my daughter likes finding her clean Thomas the Tank Engine clothes in the laundry room. We all win.
It's funny when my daughter was smaller she loved Dora the Explorer and I thought she just liked the show because that's what she liked watching but now my son loves it. Every time he knows it's coming on he dashes to the couch and is glued to the TV until it is over. I guess Dora the Explorer is interesting to little kids. I don't see a difference in Dora compared to other kids shows but they could care less of watching those and they sure like watching Dora. I also like them watching Lazytown. When A was about 6 months old I needed to distract her for a little while so I could get things done around the apartment and Blue Clues was driving me crazy. I think I was losing brain cells in the process by watching Blue Clues so anyway I found this show on Nick Jr and loved it. I think Noggin only plays Lazytown now. It took me along time before I allowed the kids to watch Blue Clues. J loves Blues Clues so I can't discriminate because I don't like it. We have all the Lazytown DVD's and also have shows taped on our TIVO. I love this show and it's the first kids show where I could watch with the kids without feeling like it was going to turn me stupid. So if you haven't watched it before you should watch it. Great kids show!
Well after wresting with the little one trying to write this blog entry I'm tired. It's not easy having a 17 month old hanging from your neck while typing on a laptop is not an easy task. Children are a joy, a pain sometimes but they have so much love. Gotta love kids!
