I do my best thinking when life gives me challenges. I seek answers but sometimes I just have to put them out there. No one has all the answers except for God and who knows if he will share them and if we ever want to know all the answers.
Right now I have some hard questions about life, the questions people have been fighting, arguing about for along time. What is life? When does it really start? When does it end? Who decides when it should end? Does society dictate these answers or is it a personal choice to seek out it's answers.
Some people are afraid to ask these questions because of the ridicule and judgement they may get or people may think they are ignorant for ever questioning for an answer.
So then one might seek the answer from God if they believe in him the creator of the heavens and the universe: what is life? (NIV-Genesis 2:7) the Lord God formed the man from dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, the man became a living being.
Some people may not believe in a creator or believe there is a God and their understanding about life is different then a religious one. Then you get the argument that a baby isn't really a baby until it is born so it's okay to end its life before it gets the chance to ever have it's first breath. So who really decides when life starts?, the women who terminates her pregnancy early, the Politicians, Doctors, Society? and then you get the argument that it's the women's choice what to do with her own body. Yes, I believe a women has her free will to decide what she does with her own body. I'm a women and for someone to dictate what I can and can't do with my personal being I kind of get a little upset. So who really decides then? For the believer it's God. The unbeliever it's human rights.
So what is life? and when should it be protected? Should society protect people who want to commit suicide? If it's there choice to end their life then why shouldn't they be allowed to end their life? Or why is it so wrong for a Doctor to help one of there patients end his/her suffering? Why is that wrong? If Doctor's are there to preserve life then why not try and preserve an unborn baby? Why is suicide wrong but abortion is okay? Those are questions to think about.
What makes ones life valuable and who gets to decide the value of that life? Society? Women? Men? Religion? or is it the individual person who values ones life and then you think about the unborn child. Does this being who isn't born yet have value to life? Then when does life really began?, The moment an egg and sperm connect or when a baby is born? I don't know the answers. Maybe both are the right answers and it depends on the person.
Then is it really wrong for someone to commit suicide or for someone to help in ending a life from medical suffering, or for someone on death row, for a women to abort an unborn baby. Whatever is right or wrong of what you believe when life begins....then who decides the right answers? Who's right? Who's wrong? Who gets to decide when life should be saved and when life should end? Who deserves life? and what about unborn babies who never gets a chance of living? Do they even have value?
So we place judgement on people with opposition on what we believe is right to life. Maybe we should think about what's right to the individual and let the person decide how they value life and when a women should end a pregnancy. We all have our own beliefs, we all have our own journey in life and we all value life differently so then why should anyone place judgement on someone who thinks and feels differently than yourself? We all can't be right or are we? Take care, Peace!!

When life leads you down another road!!
I realized I haven't wrote anything in a while. Silly me. Things have gotten too stressful for me in the last while. I've calmed myself down and I'm thinking rationally again. Wow, last week was just "a not wanting to talk to anybody week" and it's not that I was having an emotional week but I was feed up with our Government. I let things like that bother me. I'm just sad the USA is going down this road. I just wish something good will happen. I'm tired of all this race baiting and people blaming other people for there own responsibilities. It gets old!!
I'm over it now and the other night I was having a hard night sleeping and waking up with anxiety. It wasn't a good night and it came to me about co-existing. Why was I thinking of that? What does that mean? I don't know until I realized now that I can live, my family can live in a world like ours and have a united front of a happy life even though everything around us is chaotic.
Sure it's a form of survival. It's finding the root of your happiness in your own heart then infringing on another persons happiness. The more I'm learning being a follower of Christ my view points have changed a lot on many aspects of life. I think I'm more open to acceptance then I was like a year ago. The whole marriage for the gay community. I come to realize I was wrong. My views on the whole matter was wrong and I realize I was wrong and I'm sorry. I shouldn't judge people's lifestyle. I admit I was wrong and I apologize to anyone I have hurt. My God is Loving and it's not in my faith or heart to be so against something when God is teaching me to love all persons and it's not my place to make judgement on something I have no idea about. I'm not gay so I don't know what it's like to feel like you're not accepted. I'm sorry.
I'm going to focus my energy on happiness within my heart. I surely will benefit from it and anyone else I come into contact with. I will be an example to my children that happiness comes within not from the world. Take care, Peace!!

My heart is breaking!
I've been really bothered lately and I feel my faith has been rung through the ringer as discriminating against a group of individuals. I'm having a hard time figuring out why I feel like I'm being attacked because how I live my life through my religion. No one personally told me to my face my religion is discriminating against gay marriage. I've heard about Proposition 8 in California and with Gay rights groups wanting to change the meaning of marriage under the Constitution. My religious views are being affected and the way I live my life through the Scriptures is not something to be ashamed about. I'm not ashamed for being Christian but I'm hurt right now for feeling like something is wrong with me for believing in something bigger than I am. California Proposition 8: Ban on Gay Marriage. This measure would amend the state constitution to specify that only marriages between one man and one woman would be recognized as valid in the state. This measure would amend the state constitution to specify that only marriages between one man and one woman would be recognized as valid in the state. I don't feel all that great when a group of individuals feel I'm a bigot or I'm discriminating against a minority group of people because of how they choose to live their lives. Same sex couples should have the same civil rights as me under the laws of the Government but I can't condone what is sacred and a divine institution of marriage under my religion to change because they feel it's discrimination to their civil right to marry in a traditional marriage stated by the scriptures in my bible. Sure same sex couples who are committed to each other and want to spend the rest of there lives together should have the same fundamental rights as a couple the Government recognizes as legal. I don't think it's fair my religion should be in question and changed to suit same sex couples to marry under what my religion states in the scriptures. I am all for accepting civil marriages with same sex couples legalized under the Government but not legalized in a religion. In saying this the Government should also protect the rights of people who practice religion and not have people call fowl with discrimination against a institution that's been practicing for thousand of years and to force Religious Leaders to marry a same sex couple. My civil rights are being infringed because in my heart my religion is being questioned as in the wrong here and upon saying that I feel attacked for it. In my personal life I do not discriminate against anyone. With in my Christian faith I'm not in the place to judge how someone else wants to live their life so I feel I shouldn't be discriminated against for choosing to believe in a religion and live my life accordingly. It pains my heart when people feel discriminated against because they live their lives differently then how the government perceives as the normal traditional family. We are all unique and should be able to live our own lives the way we feel is right in our hearts. A sex same couple should be able to adopt children and be protected as a union recognized by the Government. I may have burned some bridges in my life for writing on this issue. I even may be looked upon as ignorant and uninformed but this is how I feel. I could even be talking out of my butt for not really knowing the whole issue on Proposition 8. I'm learning about this very issue. I don't like feeling this way with a heavy heart and I want people to know I understand your pain and how hard it is to fight so hard for what you believe is wrong in this Country. I want to understand and listen and even though I believe in my Christian faith doesn't make me closed minded but more open minded for change against discrimination of civil and human rights. I care deeply and I too want everyone in this Country to have equal protection under the law so we can grow as a society of unique individuals. God Bless!
