I want some Lemonade!!

Joe Flanigan you're hot. So I came across a You Tube video from a link off Twitter about Joe Flanigan. He's promoting a weight loss drink called Fat Burning Lemonade. I don't think I need to lose weight but then again I have some excess mommy jiggle around my stomach from giving birth to two babies and it just won't go away so maybe I may try this because if Joe is using this product it can't be all that bad...can it?

So I was all giddy watching a video with Joe in it because frankly, I enjoy watching Joe. I can't get enough of him. My hubby thinks it's funny especially when I want to manipulate my son's hair so he has the Flan do. So lame I know!

So what caught my eye from the video is he said "then he starts Bonking". WTF!! Is Bonking a new word for sex? Like this product gets you all hyped up and it makes you all horny or something like Joe, are you endorsing a sexual product? Where's my Credit Card? I want this stuff now.

So googling later Bonking doesn't mean anything sexual. Bummer!! Bonking is passing out from low blood sugar from doing vigorous exercise. Thank god, that will never happen to me because I'm the one who passes out from drinking too much water. I'm also a diabetic so passing out from low blood sugar I would have more too worry about then Bonking from exercise.

You want to see a women get all fluttered is at the end when he does this little kiss thing with his lips. I know he was doing that for me...ha ha ha!! A girl can dream can't she? I so would like to meet him someday. I can watch Joe all day. Enjoy this little video.

I'm busy but not really!

Thanks to Gateworld I've been waiting for the pictures of Joe Flanigan from last weekends Stargate Convention. I checked last night and they were up...Finally!!!! I can't believe I forgot about the convention especially when I first found out Joe Flangian was going to be there. The hubby thinks my obsession of this man is funny. I can't help it because he's hot..you know good looking. I just have to say his wife is one lucky women.

I keep thinking if I ever met the man how would I act. You know embarrassing the hell out of myself by saying something stupid or tripping over my feet and falling on my face. I keep wondering...I may end up just not saying anything or I'll babble. I do that sometimes when I meet someone and neither I am shy or I'm so nervous I'll talk my face off. I guess the conclusion is I will end up making a fool of myself some way or another. Maybe it's a good thing I haven't met Joe Flanigan. I wouldn't want to be not cool :)

So the rumor's are the Stargate Atlantis movie will be filming in the Fall. They neither are going to film SG-1 first and Atlantis second or vice versa but they are still planning to do both movies. I'm so excited..and they will be released some time in the summer of 1010. I haven't been keeping up with all the updates surrounding Stargate as you can tell I totally forgot about the Vancouver Convention but I have been keeping an eye on when the Stargate Atlanits season 5 is coming out on DVD. It's coming out on June 30th. You bet I'll be buying that!!! Take care, Peace!!

Wake up..I miss you!

So the last few days I have kept the daughter up while the son takes his nap. He's a sleeper and he's like me and if he doesn't get his sleep he turns into a cranky butt. The daughter liked this idea staying up and not having quiet time but now she's realizing she actually is missing her brother. She keeps asking me when he's getting up. Oh so funny seeing how she could care less for him any other time. Me, I'm not liking the not having "me" time. I enjoyed the few hours both kids were sleeping but that's what this mom has to do. I need to keep the peace some how so if I have to give up my time well that's what I have to do. It's been pretty good and the daughter's bedtime is slowly getting earlier because of it, it gives the hubby and I more time for each other. So we all kind of win!!!! It's all good. I just found out the Stargate Convention is this weekend in Vancouver, BC. I'm acting like a baby but I wanted to go. Oh how I love Stargate and it's not because I could meet Joe Flanigan really...okay I admit it I could have met Joe Flanigan this weekend. I totally forgot about this convention and they do it every year so maybe when I remember to go Joe Flanigan will be there. Not all the actor's show up but it's fun not that I have ever been to a convention. The hubby and I were going to go to the Burbank Convention for Stargate last November but decided we didn't really want to spend the money. One of these days we'll go to one. I could have met Joe Flanigan this weekend!!!!! Well, I'm tired and Gilmore Girls is on ABC Family at the moment. Why didn't I remember? and I'm always good on keeping up with this kind of news. Go to Gateworld because it has an article of The Best of John Sheppard who is played by Joe Flanigan on Stargate Atlantis. I would have to say my favorite John Sheppard episode is Doppelganger from Season Four, episode 4. I loved this episode because there was the coolest fight scene where Sheppard kicked his own ass as you can tell by the title. It was all around great. I will miss the show and I'm sad to see it go. I can't wait until Friday to see the last episode of the series. I saw a preview and it looks like it will kick some ass. The Team will have to figure out a way to save Earth from the Wraith.

The SGA Marathon has been good memories. I think I'm going to have to pull out the DVD's out again and watch the series over again. I forgot some stuff in the earlier seasons. I can't believe I forgot I also loved the episode this season called The Shrine. The story was about Rodney with him losing his memory and the team trying to find a way to save his life. I liked the scene with McKay and Sheppard on the Pier drinking beer. My favorite line from this episode was "You're a good friend, Arthur" I cracked up in between tears. It was touching. I also thought it was sweet McKay told Keller in a video he loved her before he lost his memory.

Well it's a slow night and my brain is fried. I had a long day because it was bath night for the children and without help I'm drained to bits. I could go on and on about Joe Flanigan and all of Stargate Atlantis but I'll wait until Friday. Take care, Peace!

Happy 2009!

It's 2009,Yeah!!!! It's a New Year. The hubby and I didn't do much to celebrate but watch a movie and just relaxed at home. We paused our movie and rang in the new year and then finished our movie. It's wasn't all that exciting but it was the way we wanted. We don't party as much anymore due to the fact we only trust the grandparents to babysit. I want to thank Montel Williams on this one. I watched a show about the horrors of babysitters before the daughter was born and it freaked me out so we don't want to hire anyone until the children can talk and express themselves if anything bad happens if anything happens. I don't want to risk my children being in harms way so the hubby and I sacrifice our sanity and don't go out much on our own. We do go on dates once in awhile but most the time when we go out the children tag along. I like my family and we were blessed to have well behaved children when we all go out to a restaurant. It's nice so we do it a lot because they are so well behaved or we wouldn't do it. I can't stand trying to have a nice meal when the table besides you has an out of control child. I find it embarrassing for the parents. We had one experience when the daughter was 9 months old at the Cheesecake Factory and she swiped a plate off the table behind her and broke it by throwing it onto the floor. I almost died and apologized. Lets just say we left a big tip that night. We got lucky and we find it a blessing we have good kids on this side of things. That's why it's not so bad when the children tag along on some of our dates. They are great company plus when the hubby and I are alone we talk about the chilren anyway so them being there is even more special. I can't believe Stargate Atlantis is almost over. Tonight is the second to last episode of the entire series. The Scifi channel is doing a week long marathon of Stargate Atlantis up until the season last episode next Friday. We have the first 4 seasons on DVD already so it's not like if I miss the marathon I would be heartbroken. I'm trying to be an adult about the end of the series but it's sad when a good show ends. I was mad when they just up and ended Dark Angel without any notice especially when they were talking about season 3 starting up and then Bam they announced the show wasn't coming back with just two seasons. I was so angry and boycotted the replacement show Firefly. I feel bad about this because we also have the boxset of Firefly and it was a great show. I keep telling people I was the cause Firefly got cancelled in it's first season because I didn't want to watch the TV show which replaced Dark Angel. :( I'm not angry Stargate Atlantis is ending but more of a sadness because I thought the show was getting better each year gone by. I think it should have at least a few more years of potential. I will have to be satisfied with a movie and hopefully it does so well some more will come there after but I'm not counting on it. It's more a wait and see and I'm fine with that and if more Stargate Atlantis movies come after I will be thrilled. I am a little disappointed with all the entertainment listings like IMDB. I would like to know what Joe Flanigan's next acting gig will be. I haven't found anything what he's going to do next now Stargate is over. I guess Joe Flanigan is taking a well deserved break from acting. I wouldn't blame him. He has 3 young boys and a wife who he probably wants to spend some time with until the next acting project comes along. He's a good actor and I'm impatient and want to see him be in something so I can watch him on my TV. :) It's going to be a good year. Lost is coming on in a few weeks and maybe it will take my mind off of Stargate Atlantis. Take care, Peace!

Finished with the 24hr blood pressure test. Tomorrow I'll drop it off and then in a few days later I will get the results back. Our plans have changed for this weekend. This was supposed to be MY Christmas shopping weekend to get gifts for Toys for Tots, the children picking out gifts for each other and everything else on my shopping list. I wanted to do it all and be done with and now Friday evening will be my only shopping day because apparently it's supposed to snow this weekend and for an area with drivers who get mental anxiety with snow I think it would be smart to stay off the roads so we're not going anywhere Saturday and Sunday. I don't mind only having Friday because Fridays my day and I don't know what will happen when Stargate Atlantis is over in January but I still love Fridays. Nothing can stop me from having a good Friday and if it stinks I still know Stargate Atlantis is on in the night and anytime I get a Joe Flanigan fix ALways puts a smile on my face. Man, that guy is hot! I just hope I can get everything done in one night. Cross my fingers... it's in the planning and I can handle a good challenge. I can do this :)

I feel like I have so much to do so I made a list because that's what I do make lists of things to do but when I was done doing my list I realized I don't have all that much to do but when you don't have a lot of energy the small amount of things to do on my list feels like along page worth of things to do. It takes me days just to do something that I used to be able to do in just one.

I had my bible study today and my daughter loves our friend who comes over. She gets so excited about it and it's special for her because she doesn't go down for her quiet time until after 4pm. After I was done I decided to go around like a mad women and tidy the house. Everything is in a place and the kitchen is clean. I'm sitting here watching some TV, writing this entry and now I'm thinking how long will the clean house last. I bet maybe 15 minutes after the children wake up. It's nice however it lasts. AT least, I know it was done!

So I don't like talking about my Birthday but my daughter is excited my birthday is on Monday and she even has a countdown calendar. It's so cute but I think it's because we're having cupcakes to celebrate and my birthday lands on our Date Night. The daughter and I every week have a date night together where we just do something special together just the two of us. It's nice and I know it makes the daughter feel special and we started doing this Date Night once the son was born. Sometimes life is busy and things can be crazy but stopping for these moments and doing the little things makes it even more special. We will keep having Date Night until the time "tear" when the daughter doesn't want to do it anymore. So, yeah my birthday is coming!

I think I'm a Celebrity stalker in hiding!

Well I think I need to chill out some and take a good breath. My favorite actor at the moment is Joe Flanigan. Who is Joe Flanigan some people may wonder? He's an actor and a very good looking actor I may chime in. I first noticed Joe Flanigan in Stargate Atlantis. This is when he caught my eye and I never heard of him before this TV series so when I decided to search more information on this man it took me to all the corners of the Internet. I would have to say what a fantastic family genealogy Joe Flanigan comes from. I would write what I came a crossed but I won't because just the fact he has a family and he should have some privacy even though he's an actor and if you research on your own you most likely will find what I did. Plus, I'm to lazy to write what I found any way. That's my reasons and I'm sticking to that.

You can find all sort of information if you want to sit on a computer and google Joe Flanigan. I would say I have a gift for doing research on the Internet. I came across websites I thought were a little crazy and obsessed. I would say I am a little obsessed with Joe Flanigan but in my defence I don't have a website with everything Joe Flanigan. I just have this little blog to express my likes and dislikes on different topics I feel like writing about.

I never went into detective mode and never crossed the line other than going to online information on the man. I think I'm more intrigued about his family history. His Irish heritage and family contributing to this country. It was interesting to learn some of his family were a part of the Anheuser-Busch family and through marriage the Kennedy clan. I may be wrong about the Kennedy family but most of my research was at night so I could be wrong.

I also think it's was cool Joe's father was part of Bohemian Grove. The Bohemian Grove is a 2700 acre redwood forest, located in Monte Rio, CA. The membership list has included every Republican U.S. president (as well as some Democrats) since 1923, many cabinet officials, and director; & CEO's of large corporations, including major financial institutions. The grove is the site of a two week retreat every July (as well as other smaller get-togethers throughout the year). Very interesting and I never heard of it before I started my google search.

I stopped several months ago on my search of who is Joe Flanigan because I felt like a peeping tom looking into his families windows so I stopped looking for information. There comes a point where it's intruding into someones life and you didn't ask if it's okay. It started to be creepy for me and I was doing a little stalkerish behavior so I stopped. He's just a man who's an Actor with a nice family. So I'm back to looking at him from a far and will watch his career at a distance.

He's a great actor and I did watch some of his early work. Dawson's Creek comes to mind as an example. I used to watch that show and didn't even know he had a guest spot on it. I saw a clip on You Tube with him on Dawson's Creek and saw him half naked and then I was like why didn't I remember that. I should have remembered that scene at least because the guy is a hot sexy man. His wife is a lucky women to be married to a good looking man like Joe Flanigan.

I don't think my hubby has a problem that I have a liking over Joe Flanigan. We do watch Stargate Atlantis together and he knows I like the guy. It's more as a celebrity crush than anything. I will be disappointed when I won't get to watch him on a weekly basis but now I'll be watching his future career and wish him the best to his whole family and beyond.
