Lets Dance!!
On an average day when I'm not over dramatic on my thinking I'm quite a free spirit. I'm usually the person you see in lets just say Walmart or Target dancing in the isles being all silly with my kids. I'm the one singing to the music while I'm shopping. I don't find this embarrassing at all. I see it as I'm having a good time with my family enjoy the small things life has to offer.
I would rather see a family having a good time then seeing some kid having a tantrum on isle 7 with their parent ready to pull their hair out. I also say Hi to everyone. Sometimes I get weird looks like who's this person saying Hello to me but that's who I am. I like expressing my positivity even when I could careless of being friendly. I don't like being serious all the time and so acting like a big goof laughing having a good time makes me feel good.
My kids are used to me singing so they don't think it's unusual when I start singing in stores while we are shopping. I'm sure they will think it's weird if other people who don't do it. Of course, I'm not belting out the word being disruptive when I sing and I'm no professional but it makes me feel good. I usually stop or don't sing if the store is busy. I am respectful to other shoppers. When my family is having a good time we end up having less drama. Sometimes it doesn't work and we're out of control but it reins in less drama when I start acting like a goof ball with my kids. It takes the focus off whatever meltdown they were about to have or meltdown I was about to have..lol!!
Just because I'm a Mother doesn't mean I have to be boring and act a certain way. Whatever moves you to be happy who cares how you get there!!
It's fun to not take life so serious and I enjoy being happy. Stop and smell the roses once in awhile. Take care, Peace!!

I'm all set for summer!!
I finally bought the bathing suit of my dreams. It took me a few years but I did it after feeling like a shriveled up old prune. I have to remember my body isn't the same since I had kids. I'm not a freak of nature like the Celebrity moms who look great after having their babies. I could be but I don't want to spend day and night obsessed with my body getting it back into shape. I clearly should but the reality I'm a lazy ass so my body is my body.So a few years ago I got my bottom bikini and I loved it. It makes my hips look a little bigger which for me is a plus because I have no hips or a butt so finding the right top has been tanking my self esteem. I have lost my best assets after giving birth and I do miss my boobs, I miss them I do. I was gifted with great boobs but after kids they kinda didn't come back to where they used to be. My girls are lifeless and it's shameful.
So now I'm working with what I got and it doesn't help me in finding the best clothes that work with my new shape. It's so frustrating but today I did it. I found the top bikini to go with the bottom bikini. I was dreading the changing room. I was afraid to try on the bikini tops. I tried on a plain black one first because black always makes me look a little thinner. This black top was out and if I only had my old boobs back it would have been perfect. I didn't feel too secure so I tried a vertical stripped top and at first I was like this one is going to make me look like a wide load but I liked the cut of the top so why not? I was kinda sweating at this point. Would I be disappointed?
Holy smokes!! I couldn't believe my eyes. I was like this can't be...I look great. The strips makes me look like I have curves. I have never in my life looked like I have curves. I was a screaming school girl all giddy and excited. I rock, this top was made for me. Then I was like oh no, what if this top doesn't look good with the bikini bottoms I bought? I was like I have to buy this top. This top fits me in all the right places. It makes my boobs look good and my waist look smaller. I can not think about the pieces not going together. So I bought myself a new bra too which has nothing to do with my bikini dilemma because I'm on a mid life boob crisis and finding bra's to make my girls look good has been a challenge but I realize push-ups are my friend.
So back to my bikini dilemma. I came home and I'm still afraid they will not fit together. Well, it's my day of days. I was standing on the side of my tub looking across at myself in the mirror and I was like this is my year!! I did it. I found the perfect match and life needs to be this easy. I like easy and I'm on a high. Shopping was a great experience and my two girls are finally happy. Take care, Peace!!

Cleaning up my life!!
Where to begin...wow who knew life can be so complicated and wonderful all at the same time. I feel like I'm starting a new journey and right now it's a little out of control and I'm figuring out how to change things for the better. It's just getting started and where to begin is the question of the day. I make lists and in the past it has worked for me to get thing under control and lists of things I need to get done but my lists are so long it's kind of overwhelming. It's so overwhelming I just want to put my hands up in the air and just forget about it like the saying "out of sight, out of mind". The crazy thing is if I want to have a new beginning I have to start somewhere right? So no matter how I'm feeling it has to get done.
First, my hubby and I are changing out spending habits and that in itself is a little daunting. You get so used of something like buying material things that life has to offer and then telling yourself no is a challenge like going to Target is our biggest problem. We just can't go there and expect to just get everything on our list because we are weak and things just attempt us to buy buy buy and we know we shouldn't buy those things but at the time it felt really good. We have to stop doing that. So Target will be a struggle to just say No!!! Trust me, it will be hard and I have to be honest with myself because they have a good book selection and that's the reason I don't go to the bookstore anymore because the temptation to not buy just one book is something I have a problem with. I love to read and exercise my mind but I know going to the bookstore is hard for me to not buy the whole store. We also have a problem saying no to the kids. They are blessed for sure. So just saying no is going to be hard.
Okay, so my family wants financial success and that's something I want to talk about. My hubby bought a book last week he was so excited about. He was raving big about it and wanted me to read it. It's called Rich Dad, Poor Dad. I saw advertisements about it on Facebook and I just thought it was some get rich quick scam and passed right by it. So after he was done reading the book I started reading it. I got motivated like so much so I'm determined with a new sense of personal power. I haven't felt this inner rush in along time. If my family wants to have financial security we definitely need to change out lifestyle. We need to get out of debt like credit cards and start being smart with our money. It's so simple yet at the same time so hard to change bad habit's. My family has bad habit's. By USA government standards we are smack dab in the middle of Middle Class but we're not wealthy because we enjoy spending money and not getting anywhere to financial freedom. We always talk about what we want like send our kids to private school and go on nice vacations to Disneyland but we would love to do those things without being in serious debt. We want to save money for our kids to have nice College Funds and know if we don't do something now while they are only 5 years old and 3 years old their will never be any money to do those things. My hubby and I would love to give our children financial security so they can grow but to do that "we" as their parents have to show them by example. Showing them how money works and know about debt like credit cards and such they can become financial wealthy themselves in their futures without all the baggage that goes on when they become adults.
I decided to go back to school not in a classroom but self teach myself and the best part is I can still buy book. Instead of buying the books I'm used to but buy books that will help our family with financial success. Yesterday I bought some financial books and I will study until the cows come home. Whatever I have to do to make my family successful so money isn't an issue. Yes, it would be nice to be considered rich. We're not there yet but if my family is smart and let our money work for us instead of working for our money then we'll be doing okay. We'll be able to do the things we want for our family like vacations and college funds, private schools and maybe a new car with out a car payment. That will be financial success!! The path we're on right now isn't allowing us to do that. Yes, we could take vacations and put it on credit and pay back later but it won't help find money our children's future. For me, I would rather give our children money so they can go to college without my hubby and I having to borrow money or take equity out of the house just to pay for it.
Another thing I need to do is start managing our families house chaos. I say chaos because we have material things we don't use anymore that is just collecting in our house which turns our house in a garage dump. Everything we don't need has to go. So organizing our house is another thing I have anxiety to do. I need my hubby for this but the last few months he has kind of checked out of our family. He still provides for us but he would rather just sit on the couch and play video games then deal with household chaos after he comes home from work or do things around the house on weekends. I don't hound him because he's my partner not my child. I don't think being the nagging wife will make the situation better so I have to be more creative and if that means I have to do most of it myself so be it. Doing nothing just because my hubby doesn't want to help in that way isn't going to be very smart. I don't fault him on this because he goes far and beyond the call of duty on other things for our family. He's appreciated very much so and if he needs to sit on the couch for a few months then that's what he needs to do. In saying that, things still needs to get done around the house so it's all on me to bring my family back from the brink of self destruction. With the already drained energy I do have will be a struggle in itself but I know I can do something if I put my mind to it but some days I'll most likely be crying in a heap on the floor and my hubby will just give me the strength to keep going forward out of love because he does that on more occasion then I care to admit. Thanks Hon!!
I don't want my family to struggle if we don't have too. I would like this new journey in my families lives be a good life lesson and blessing then years down the road and not have done anything. I want to be a smart mother not a struggling mother. Our family is blessed to have a roof over our head, food on our table and clothes on our backs but material things is just that..things and if you are struggling to live for things then what's the sense in buying it if it's only causing you struggles. It's not worth it to me.
I don't like change and I can tell you I can fight it tooth and nail but this is a gift of change I want for my family. We'll be better off in the long run by changing the bad habit today then wonder why we didn't do anything when we still have a chance. It's not going to be easy and I'm sure I'll be fighting it along the way but it's a journey I want to do for the good of my family.
So I educate, learn, purge and maybe when habits change my family will have financial success and as a family we'll be happier human beings then struggling to just survive. Take care, Peace!!

New day less worry!!
I'm not in shock as I was yesterday after leaving the Dentist office. It was a huge shock but I'm not worried about the money anymore. My tooth will get fixed and all will be good. So my family won't have this huge trip like I planned but that's life. We'll still do a vacation but it will be downsized and that's better than not one at all.
So for this Friday I have a funny story to tell about my son the vampire boy. Poor kid lives in the Pacific Northwest and practically most of fall and most of the winter we don't get a lot of sun. So last week we needed to go somewhere and it was actually a nice sunny day than the cloudy rain we've been experiencing. After putting the kids in the car I looked back and was wondering what the son was doing with his Elmo. He had Elmo up in this face and he said, Sun Hot!! So I asked him Sun is hot? and he replied with momma, sun hot!! So we call him our little vampire boy because he doesn't like being in the bright sunlight. Maybe he was meant to grow up here. He likes it cloudy and that's fine with him. I guess he's like my inner soul wants structure and peace. He's so much different than his sister. She's a wild child so independent, could care less if she lived in a messy house but he likes things in it's place and clean. Raising polar opposites is a challenge but they both bring to life a lot of joy no matter what they do. Love them to pieces.
So this weekend I'm dropping more stuff off to the Goodwill. I'm getting the stuff out of my house. I'm starting with the inside of the house first and then tackling the garage. I don't want to think about doing the garage right now or I will overwhelm myself to the point 10 years from now it will still be the same. I'm going small and hopefully by the end of this year I will have this house in order. I can't believe I still have boxes I didn't unpack when we moved into this house 2.5 years ago. I guess I'm not missing it Bob!!!
So I finally got my book shelf and now my books don't have to be piled up by my bed anymore. I can get them off the floor and onto my new bookshelf. I finally bought one over the holiday's because I was trying to find the right one. I just didn't want to buy any bookshelf. The process took me almost a year and the family was at Target one night and I saw it and it was on sale(bonus) so the hubby had to go on his own so he could get that sucker in the car. I just love it and it fits so well with the funiture I already have in there. I'm so excited to get it in our master bedroom. The question is now I need to search in the garage for the rest of my books. Somewhere I have 4 boxes of books in there that I need to find. I love books and I'm proud of the collection of books I have bought over the years my hubby and I have been together. Now I'm thinking I may not have enough space on my bookshelf for all of them. Makes me want to go shopping for more books so I have another excuse to buy another bookshelf!!! Reading is good!! Take care, Peace!!!
